Plus Meet Nevin Schreiner, Writers' Guild Award winning author of Flight 93, has worked in Hollywood for thirty two years. He's written some fifteen produced TV episodes and movies of the week and also wrote the production polish for the cult classic, The Hitcher. Three of his movies were nominated for Ace Awards, the Cable predecessor to the Emmys. One was among the highest rated movies of the week for its year.
Before coming to Los Angeles, he taught English at Rutgers and St. Peters College, was a University Fellow at Columbia, and received an M.A. from Oxford and a B.A. from Dartmouth. He also presently writes art criticism. An essay of his appears in the book chronicling the painting of Charles Garabedian.
Nevin is the author of two novels, SERIAL, a work about a serial killer and serial killer novels generally, and A GERMAN FAMILY, which depicts three days in the life of a family living in Berlin in 1944. He will be reading from his novels.
